The LGBT Community Center of the Chippewa Valley was founded as an organization in September 2000 and opened its doors on October 11, 2001.


The Community Center's mission is to Provide Services and Create Programs To Promote Well-Being and Unity Among LGBT People in the Chippewa Valley Area.

The Community Center welcomes people of any age for Drop-In usage. Membership is open to any person over the age of 18 and out of high school. Dues are $15.00/year per person for Adults, $25.00/year per household, Students are Free. Scholarships are available for those persons (students, limited income) unable to pay dues. No one eligible will be denied membership due to financial difficulty. Membership dues are tax deductible.

Remember as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, any donation you make to the LGBT Commnuity Center of the Chippewa Valley is tax deductible. In addition to monetary donations, the Community Center often has other needs; please contact us for further details!










rm2breathe is a state-wide anti-tobacco program for lesbian, gay,
bisexual, and transgendered people in Wisconsin. This program is funded by The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health's Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health, Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, LGBT Resource Center of the
7 Rivers Region, OutReach, the LGBT Community Center of Madison, LGBT Community Center of the Chippewa Valley, SAGE in Milwaukee, Positive Voice, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, University of Wisconsin Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention, American Lung Association of Wisconsin and Milwaukee City Health Department.
