Looking for a person who is not a Gay Racist makes no sense in the
short run. But unfortunately they / we are out there. The Center is striving to bring out the best in all folks. So it is with Pride that we the Board of the Center take great pains to walk a thin line of protecting our members and respecting all people’s rights to their opinions.

At one time being a conservative meant that you were a person who wanted less government iintervention and financial responsibility.
Somewhere along the line the Conservative party was hijacked and now totally represents something else. Liberals were people who wanted to expand the services of the Government and spend whatever it took to achieve those goals. Again today we see the liberal party as standing for something totally different. Our community and family have been pawns used by both sides not always in our best interests but it is a fact of life.

The Center has taken great pains to remain neutral on many things and has been ridiculed as a result of this. We as a community must remember that we are not all liberal activists and we are not all conservative Log Cabin types either. There are a whole lot of folks who are in the middle and we all want a safe place to meet without being ridiculed by fellow family members.

The Center is one of those places and we hope that all of you will take advantage of what we have to offer. If you would like to see something different offered then feel free to suggest it, and don’t be afraid to offer some of your time as well.
